Our Sections
Scouting is split into six age-based sections, so every young person gets activities suited to them — right through from age 4 to 25.
🐿️ Squirrels · Ages 4–6
Squirrel Scouts
Our newest and youngest section. Squirrels take part in short, fun, hands-on activities with a parent or carer — the very first step into scouting, building curiosity about the world around them.

🦫 Beavers · Ages 6–8
Beaver Scouts
Beavers is often a child’s first taste of independent adventure — games, crafts, songs and their first sleepovers away from home, all building confidence and new friendships.

🐺 Cubs · Ages 8–10½
Cub Scouts
Cubs is where the adventure really ramps up: cooking on an open fire, learning first aid, night hikes and weekends away camping — all while working towards a huge range of badges.

Explorer Scouts
Explorers get more independence, planning their own adventures, taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and even helping younger sections as Young Leaders.
