All our adult volunteers are DBS-checked and trained — see our Safeguarding statement for how we keep young people safe.

Give an hour, change a lifetime

Our groups run entirely thanks to volunteers — leaders, helpers, trustees and behind-the-scenes support. No experience needed; we provide full training, and roles can flex around your own commitments.

  • Roles from weekly section leader to occasional event helper.
  • Free training, and all necessary background checks (DBS) provided.
  • Flexible time commitment — from an hour a term to weekly sessions.
