St Joseph’s Scout Group took their place at Luton’s Best Awards in the Luton Hoo walled garden, recognised for a year of work that made their home warmer, greener and fit for the future.
Under the lights of the Luton Hoo Hotel Walled Garden, and with the awards presented by Andrew Castle, St Joseph’s Scout Group were named runners-up in the Community Project of the Year category — a proud night out for the whole group.
The nomination recognised an incredible year of improvements to their hut, including a new roof and lighting, making the space more energy efficient and modern for the young people who use it week in, week out.
Behind a project like this stand the volunteers and trustees who make everything possible. This one was for all of them.
