Whether you’re 4 or 94, there’s a place for you in Luton & Flitwick District Scouts — as a young person or as a volunteer.
For young people
Sign up for adventure
Joining is simple. Use the national Scouts sign-up tool to search by postcode and see which of our groups have space, or contact the district directly and we’ll point you the right way.
- Search by postcode for your nearest group and section.
- Some groups may have a short waiting list — we’ll keep you updated.
- Try a couple of taster sessions before committing — most groups welcome this.
For adult volunteers
Give an hour, change a lifetime
Our groups run entirely thanks to volunteers — leaders, helpers, trustees and behind-the-scenes support. No experience needed; we provide full training, and roles can flex around your own commitments.
- Roles from weekly section leader to occasional event helper.
- Free training, and all necessary background checks (DBS) provided.
- Flexible time commitment — from an hour a term to weekly sessions.
